Naomi Donnelley was the Chair of the Camp Harlowarden Committee in 1912. The camp was created to provide summer outings in fresh, rural air for children with tuberculosis, who were otherwise excluded from outings because of their infection. The camp evolved into Camp Algonquin, which was operated by United Charites/Metropolitan Family Services until its sale in 2005. Ms. Donnelley also served on a variety of United Charities committees until 1940. Ms. Donnelley was the aunt of Gaylord and Elliot Donnelley.
