Anita McCormick BlaineAnita McCormick Blaine (Mrs. Emmons Blaine), daughter of Cyrus McCormick, inventor of the reaping machine, served as a director of the Chicago Bureau of Charities (now Metropolitan Family Services) in 1898 and remained on the Board of Directors of the United Charities until 1922.
